Recently I announced a project I’ve launched to help organizations clarify their purpose. I was surprised by the number of responses from individuals communicating their desire to know that what they do matters. Tonight, those of us who live in the Hot Springs area can do something that really matters. The great news is it won’t take much time and each of us already has the required expertise!
Here’s the scoop: Tonight from 5pm-7pm Dianne Morrison is hosting an open house at the Transportation Depot to present the current draft of a transportation development plan for the Hot Springs region. For the handful of you who are passionate about these kind of things, this is your chance to give feedback. If you’re like me and need to entrust these things to smarter, more passionate people, here’s why it’s critical we attend. At some point the work of executing this plan will seem impossible. When Dianne wonders if it’s worth the fight, she’ll remember our faces and know her work matters.
Spend 15 minutes this evening and do something that matters. Show up, hear what’s going on and let someone know they’re appreciated. It will only take a few minutes but the payoff will last!

Step, Martin Luthers thoughts on theology of vocation are very applicable. World Magazine worldmag.com focused their Labor Day issue on this very thing. Thanks for the encouragement.
Shoot me an email sometime and lets catch up.
